Hikari is a powerhouse but Ochette does what he can do way better. Amazing buffs/debuffs at night, good to great coverage for every weakness when secondary jobs are set up plus Castii's concoction alongside the amazing monsters Ochette can use, good path actions and amazing latent abilities. Imho I think Throne, Temenos, Castii, and Ochette (Mahina chosen partner) are the 4 best characters overall.
